Love love love these folks. Worked with Nicole today and have also worked with Tom in the past. I can’t say enough about these people. Nicole made what is incredibly confusing, very clear. I can be niggly piggly in the detail I ask and she was right there with answers and explanations. She even sent me charts and explained how to read them, since they are NOT intuitive. Plus, she has a sense of humor and a personableness (if that’s word) that makes a potentially painful process almost enjoyable. This is amazing customer service. I absolutely agree! They genuinely take pride in helping their clients choose the best insurance for their needs from the bewildering array of choices, without any self-serving concern about making a sale.  I’ve been with Dawn and company for decades and I never have to give a thought to whether my insurance coverage is appropriate for me. She frequently monitors my coverage as the laws change and companies change their coverage.  As I’ve aged into Medicare, Dawn has contacted me on several occasions when companies change their rates or coverage to suggest different plans that not only save me money but provide better coverage.

I’ve recommended Fairbanks insurance to several of my friends, ranging from those with limited income who use the Affordable Care Act or Covered California to other oldsters who move into Medicare.  Particularly in the second case, everyone I’ve referred has gotten back to thank me.  If you are confused about the rules for Medicare and registering, They will make the whole process very simple.

Thank the gods for Dawn and her team, her son has been amazing with our business health plan. He answered all my questions and handled everything making it a breeze to get started!

Knowledgeable and conscientious. That describes every person I have spoken to and worked with at Dawn Fairbanks Insurance.  I have spent the most time with Tom Carman, working on getting insurance for a special surgery my daughter needed to have, in Santa Barbara.  Tom has also found solutions to her other insurance needs and mine too. Before I am finished I will have discussed medical, dental and life insurance with Tom, and chosen the best plan for me.  While actually getting insurance is now possible for me (it wasn’t in the past!) it sure is complicated. Dawn came and helped our company work through health insurance and was knowledgeable, professional, kind, and ‘helpful’ really isn’t a strong enough word. She’s amazing and capable of answering any questions you could conceivably have about health insurance. She’s super sweet and easy to talk to. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Dawn Fairbanks and her team, specifically Nicole, assisted me today in working with my Anthem Blue Cross provider. I couldn’t have done it without Nicole’s phone call to me alerting me to a problem and then assisting me until the problem was resolved. She even stayed on hold with Anthem for over an hour! I called literally minutes before they closed on a weekday and Tara spent 20-30 minutes discussing with me my options for getting an individual dental plan specific to my needs and budget. She then sent me a detailed analysis via email — same day. After reviewing the options I responded, and by the next morning (less than 12 hours later) she had responded with even more detailed analysis, and she had even called the places that I liked best to make sure that they were good fits.
